A guide to handling #MeToo and Sexual Harassment Complaints

With the #MeToo movement on the rise, its affects have become increasingly prevalent in the everyday workforce.  Now more than ever, employers must be diligent about its response to sexual harassment complaints.

In this program, attendees will review the legal definition of sexual harassment and how to identify potentially problematic situations in the workplace.  Attendees will also learn about the effects of the #MeToo movement in the workplace and their legal obligations when it becomes aware of a sexual harassment complaint in the workplace.

Join us for an intriguing session where attendees will learn:

  • The legal definition of sexual harassment in employment under state and federal law
  • How to identify potentially problematic situations in the workplace which may result in sexual harassment claims
  • How the #MeToo movement affects employers and the workplace
  • What employers’ legal obligations are in response to sexual harassment complaints
